A side effect of search+wikipedia I have noticed is the feeling of being an "instant expert" on virtually any subject: "I know nothing about the Russian Revolution - ah, that's better, now I know everything."  (A stand-up comic once said something similar while wondering about about the appeal of CD box sets. "Hm...I own nothing by the Oak Ridge Boys.  Aha!  Now I own EVERYTHING by the Oak Ridge Boys.")</description>
